Carrie Underwood warns a good girl in her new single titled "Good Girl," off of her next album.

Co-written by Underwood herself, she sings the edgy country tune with anger in her voice, with only the best intentions for the 'good girl'. Carrie exploits the inevitable scenario of the guy breaking her heart, and asks the girl, Why you gotta be so blind?, Won't you open up your eyes?, Just a matter of time til you find, He's no good, girl.

This uptempo song has a catchy beat, powerful lyrics and the voice to match. All that's left to say is, Carrie, this song is good, girl!

Carrie Underwood's album release date confirmed

In a press release from Sony Music Nashville, it confirmed that Carrie Underwood's latest album will be released on May 1, 2012.

"In anticipation of what is expected to be one of this year’s hottest album releases, it was announced today that Carrie Underwood’s new CD will be released on Tuesday, May 1. Produced by Mark Bright, the forthcoming album was featured in Entertainment Weekly’s recent “10 albums we can’t wait for.” This will be the fourth studio album on 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville for the five-time Grammy winner."

Carrie's new single off of the album will be "Good Girl," which will be released next month.
